The Relax Guest House is a Victorian town house in the centre of Edinburgh within the beautiful Georgian new town. We offer comfortable and modern accommodation: all rooms have en-suite facilities and high speed internet access.
The Relax Guest House is just ten minutes from Princes Street and George Street, where you will find some of the world's best shops, restaurants and bars, close to all major tourist attractions. If you are lucky, you might spot the odd celebrity such as Prince William, who is known to frequent Rick's Bar and the Opal Lounge. Whether you want to shop at famous Harvey Nichols, or just forget the troubles of the day with a relaxing stroll around the Royal Botanical Gardens, when you stay at the Relax Guest House, it is all just a few moments away.

We only take a minimum of four night stays during Christmas and New Year and these bookings must be made in only the Christmas and New Year rooms.
Our decor is very simple and homely, with each room having its own style with the en suite bathroom plain and simple, with modern and clean lines.
Double rooms are to the back of the house, overlooking the back garden and therefore quiet and peaceful.
Set at the front of the house and overlooking the new penthouse apartments, this bright, sunny room is set on the top floor. This former servant's room features a double and single bed and swags and tails for decor.
Modern and traditional with a homely feel. Two rooms to the front of the house have a sunny outlook and the one at the back overlooks the garden .
One large family room features a large Adams-style white fireplace and has 2 double beds. The decor uses light swags and tails alongside hand-picked ornaments to complement the Victorian style of this bright sunny room. The second room is in the basement. Overlooking the sunny front courtyard, with a bright simple look, this room used to be the old kitchen.
Our dining area is very pleasant and we seat up to 20 guests, it's very modern with a touch of class too. You can enjoy your breakfast with a lovely view out looking the City, including our 42inch wide screen plasma TV.
From the train station we are North, we are 10 minutes away from Princess Street and George Street.
