This is a beautiful unique place. We both loved it! Quirky decor, fantastic service, stunning garden and grounds, lovely personal touches (they deliver a freshly baked muffin in a Boscundle Manor bag to your room every morning!! Hanging up on a hook outside your door for when you wake up. Delightful touch.) Absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely stay again. The owner gave us loads of information about things to see and do and we had a great time playing pool in the wonderful games room as well as a lovely relaxing swim in their indoor pool.

Mevagissey is great but the accommodation was poor, bedding was stained and dirty and the owners are refusing to acknowledge it . This cottage owners are not good hosts . The bedding was filthy, the mattresses are so old and need to change

The town was quaint and full of history and character, very narrow streets not good for driving. The Pubs (Ship Inn) was excellent including the food if a bit pricey. The restaurants were excellent (Salamander and Polkirk One )Not cheap but good value for money. Very hilly trying to get out of town centre if you're old or athsmatic.Don't book a hotel up Polkirk Hill it's very steep.

Lovely little village and well worth a visit!
Lovely little village and well worth a visit! It has several really good pubs and restaurants. We’ve only ever been in October but I’m sure it would be lovely during the summer! Driving through the village if you need to get to accommodation up the hill can sometimes be a challenge. Just take it slow and not be in a hurry!

Picturesque harbour village, plenty of places to eat out if you book early, the Salamander was our favourite. Locals are friendly and welcoming. Lovely to walk around very narrow streets. Brilliant little coves and beaches nearby, along coastal path walks.
Lower Barns is a gem! A lovely setting carefully curated by two wonderful hosts, Janie and Mike. I stayed after walking 7 days on the South West Coast Path and it was a magical spot to relax and absorb the unique beauty of Cornwall.
The room was cozy, vibrant and well accomodated. Loved the giant tub & comfy bed! Breakfast was delicious and the beautiful, unique grounds made for good wandering. Thanks for a wonderful stay -wish I could have stayed longer!!
What a lovely place! Our room was lovely, facing the sea, a good size and lovely big bathroom. The staff are friendly and the breakfast of a very good standard. Sadly the restaurant wasn't open but the bar snacks that were available were lovely. This was the most expensive of all of the hotels that we booked on our trip but was worth the extra money. It is within walking distance of Mevagissey which is a special place in itself.
We loved Mevagissey. Lovely room. Very clean and comfortable with a great view over the harbour. We really appreciated the quality of the lighting in the room. Very often hotel rooms particularly bathrooms have poor lighting. Helen was an excellent host and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was nice to be in a working port and share the dining room with the local fisherman having their morning coffee.
The whole property was delightful. The range of spaces to sit, use and enjoy were really well balanced - there were even books and games to loan. Breakfasts were superb and Caroline is a master of the hollandaise sauce! Both Mike and Caroline were really open and welcoming hosts and had great tips for the local area - even how to master the hill into and out of the village!
The home is a 300 yr old mill house located on a narrow lane in Cornwall, close to Truro and St Austell. The property has been fully upgraded to modern standards and reflects the pursuit of quality by the owners, Denise and Vic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unique and beautiful home. Denise and Vic are talented inn keepers and a real joy to get to know.
Loved the location, beautiful view from the room, balcony and breakfast room and only a 5 minute walk into Mevagissey. The breakfast was delicious with lovely fresh locally produced ingredients. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the dolphins from afar, there were even binoculars available in the room 😀
We were at The Tremarne Hotel for a wedding in the area, and our accommodation here made a special weekend even better. Lovely, friendly staff; delicious food; large, comfortable room with an en-suite; fabulous views of the sea and countryside; easy parking; aperitifs on the sun drenched veranda. Wonderful.
It was in a perfect location for access to Mevagissey. The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served on hot plates. Mike and Caroline were wonderful hosts and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. I would definately recommend this accommodation to friends.
Perfect location. Right in the heart of Mevagissey. From start to finish everything was perfect. The room was a great size and far exceeded our expectations. The host Fran was amazing, nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be returning on our next trip to Cornwall.
Food Exceptional, so much so we ate at the hotel every night, staff and facilities absolutely fantastic !Even organised Champagne and birthday cake celebrations ! Would recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel, made you feel really at home, a wonderful experience.
Very up to date with facilities good quality bed and very well laid out property. Set in the town so no driving around to do,restaurants all in walking distance.
Parking included in the price at a local car park near by which is a nice touch.
We were able to appreciate the drama of the stormy weather in warmth and comfort, watching through the window of the bar area.
The buffet breakfast provided full variety and excellent quality.
The hosts were very helpful and attentive.
A friendly welcome, very comfortable room, delicious breakfast. Good parking at the property with a short walk down into Mevagissey. An ideal base for the area. Also within walking distance of Lost Gardens of Heligan.
The hotel was only a very short walk from the centre of Mevagissey.
The owners are lovely and made us feel very welcome.
The continental breakfast was very good and the service excellent.
Nice location. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing (smiling and caring). Very good breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Mevagissey.
Home from home experience, the hoists are very chatty, friendly and helpful. And also good guides to the area.
Easy access to this area of Cornwall and to the town and harbour
