Comfortable ground level Room 3 with bedroom, sitting room and sunroom with garden access was exceptional. Owner/manager was very kind and personable. Breakfasts were very complete and delicious with Dutch cheeses, ham, croissants, toast, fruit & yogurt with Dutch baked goods. Unlimited tea, coffee and a good selection of juices etc. Repeat future bookings are planned.

We used Hilversum as a base to visit relatives throughout...
We used Hilversum as a base to visit relatives throughout the country. The accommodations are half the price of the Holiday Inn at the train station in Amsterdam with a much bigger suite and a good kitchen. We rented a car at the airport which worked out well. There was free parking everywhere outside Amsterdam. Hilversum is filled with good restaurants and is a beautiful smaller city.

I'm my booking I asked for a single double bed but the hotel told me booking.com did not inform then so I had 2 single bed which I did not like . So I dad to downgrade my room to get a bed that I like without any refund.

Hilversum is a small and cozy city next to Utrecht. It is very calm even though it has a big variety of restaurants, bars, cafés. Also it has a mall with brands like Primark, Zara, H&M and a big cinema close by.

Lots of restaurants and shops. Good location for travel to Amsterdam. Only 20 mins on the train. Could do with more of the restaurants having their menus with English translation as this caused us a few problems .looking forward to going back

The number of people in the hotel during the day at lunch is off the charts; they receive groups of people with a bunch of children arriving on buses. The rooms open onto a common courtyard, where everyone passing by looks into your room - it's terrible! Something is constantly happening on the lawn outside the window: people are running around with animals and yelling, smoking weed. There were huge spiders in my room. Dirty carpet.ValentinaLatvia

Unlimited coffee on the room is a very nice plus. With a supermarket around the corner the fact that any nearby restaurant was closed due to lockdown was not an issue.
